At Revel, we are revolutionizing the way the world's most critical hardware is controlled—across aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing sectors. Our next-generation software stack combines an intuitive command/control interface, a specialized programming language tailored for hardware control, and a high-performance runtime environment. We empower engineers to build, test, and deploy critical systems rapidly, reliably, and safely.

You will design and build user interfaces and backend services that power mission-critical hardware systems, lead greenfield projects, and collaborate closely with engineers and operators to deliver reliable, high-performance tools for complex systems.
Responsibilities
Design and build polished, high-performance browser-based user interfaces.
Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support frontend applications.
Lead development of greenfield projects and help define system architecture.
Work across the stack to support data flow, system performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with engineers and operators to translate real-world needs into software solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Solid understanding of full-stack architecture, system design, and backend development.
Experience building and maintaining production-grade APIs and services.
Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience with real-time or streaming data systems.
Familiarity with systems programming languages such as Rust.
Frontend depth — browser internals, video streaming, or low-latency UI experience.
Track record of leading or owning greenfield projects.
Interest in systems programming, performance, or infrastructure.
