As a Software Engineer, you will

• Join a world-class team of Quantum and AI experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry.

• Take on technical leadership and work together with software and DevOps engineers as well as our machine learning and quantum experts to industrialize Multiverse’s core technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field or relevant industry experience

• Expert knowledge of Python and preferably other languages such as Rust and C/C++

• Junior: 1-2 years of experience in software engineering with focus on machine learning and data science.

• Mid: 3+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on machine learning and data science.

• Experience in frontend and backend development, with varying levels of seniority.

• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Lit, and frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.

• Experience in developing and deploying software systems on the cloud, e.g. AWS

• Proficiency with git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Demonstrated commitment to maintainable, high-quality code through best practices such as testing, documentation, and clean design principles, and the ability to instil this in others.

• Strong ability to work with APIs and design efficient application workflows.

• Excellent communication and soft skills: a people’s person.

• Ability to work with experts from different professional backgrounds, both in-person and through online resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated familiarity with developing on and with LLMs, including tools and frameworks such as HuggingFace Transformers, OpenAI APIs, vector databases, and model-serving platforms.

• Experience with distributed computing frameworks and concepts, such as Ray, Apache Spark, or distributed training/inference across GPUs and nodes.

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with algorithm development and optimization, designing scalable and robust class structures.
